Nutrients can’t normally be taken in through the leaves or fruit.
Still, we spray a lot in professional agriculture and horticulture
markets.
How can this be?
We put a product with the fertilizers that is called a wetting agent.
A wetting agent is changing the tan of the surfaces so that the
nutrients flow easy inside the plant.
All Metrop plant foods contain a wetting agent by default.
That means every Metrop nutrient can be given as a foliar plant food.
In fact, if it is given as foliar feed, the plants can effectively
absorb the nutrients and the plant will be even bigger.
Therefore we recommend that in addition to the regular breeding scheme,
to feed folair by spraying the plants to inject an extra boost.
Metrop Calgreen:
Calgreen mainly consists of elements that build the cellular skin,
making it stronger.
Calcium is an important nutrient for making it bigger.
However, Calcium is also an element that is difficult to move within a
plant.
If the combination of Calgreen and the nutrients are given, on where we need the most heavy and rigged cells (the flowers), it will result in excessive weight gain.
We therefore recommend mixing 15ml of Calgreen with 5L water onces a week and thoroughly spray the buds until they are dripping wet. The EC of this mixture is very high between 3.0 - 4.0 mS, but because the quality of the fertilizer is so high, the plants have no problem with that. Don’t alter the pH!
It is important that spraying the buds is being started from the beginning the buds are shown. This must be repeated every week for the new cells are being produced until the third day before harvesting.
Metrop MR2:
We also recommend spraying MR2, mixing 15ml with 5L water, on the plants
once or twice a week. MR2 also consists of potassium which is the
fattener for the fruit or buds, especially when potassium is being given
with phosphor with the ratio 1 to 2.
We recommend spraying Calgreen on weekends and spraying MR2 on Tuesday
and Thursday.
In case of spraying MR2 twice a week, make sure the Ec in the medium
doesn’t increase.
WHAT YOU CAN NEVER DO!
You should never spray in the dark, always with all the lights turned
on.
You should never change the pH of the spray mixture. Foliar nutrients
have a different pH than plant nutrients needed in the medium.
Just mix, shake and spray.
You should never use a remaining mix after being already used. Always
create a fresh mix again.
Never mix plant nutrients together or with other products. Always spray
it separately.
Only the most types of poison can be mixed with products, suitable for spraying. It even appears to be that the wetting agent in our products, make the poison work better.
